GENKISHIN
DESCRIPTION:
Genkishin specializes in dipping noodles in chicken broth made from chicken bones, whole chicken, vegetables, kelp and boiled until cloudy. Homemade noodles made with 100% domestic wheat flour. The noodles used in the tsukemen are made from whole wheat flour and are rich in minerals.
MENU DETAILS:
Genkishin has quite an extensive menu and enough seating for 52 people. The dipping noodles come with an egg and rice meaning you you can reheat the remaining dipping sauce on the IH cooker placed on the table then pour it over the rice to make a comforting porridge to finish the meal.

DESCRIPTION:
Don Cheadle is a little ramen shop just west of JR Nara Station. It has developed a loyal following among those who love rich creamy pork broth. The owner trained at the renowned Osaka establishment Tenjinki which draws ramen aficionados from further afield.
MENU DETAILS:
The restaurant is really small, but there is a little waiting area outside which has a menu. Once inside, you purchase your ramen ticket from a vending machine.

4-minute-walk from JR Nara station. There is a coin parking next door.
KAKIEMON / KAKIGOYA

The restaurant is open under the name of “Kakiemon" during lunch hours. It is open as “Kakigoya Fever (かき小屋フィーバー)” during dinner hours and serve all-you-can-eat oyster dishes.

It's whimsical and fairytale-like exterior looks more like a trendy cafe, but as soon as you walk through the castle-like gate entrance, you are faced with the counter and staff in bright clothes busy at work. Free from additives. they take great pride in their dedication to handmade craftsmanship and that dedication comes through in every mouthful.
