KAKINOHASUSHI:
Their mission is to bake bread that tastes as great as it looks. Their menu ranges from staples such as loaves and curry bread to decadent tartes and cherry pies.
ACCESS:
Located on a side street connecting Sanjo-dori ot Naramachi. It's not too far from the famous mochi-pounding shop, Nakatani-do. They have another store outside Kintetsu Nara Station Station with an eat-in area.
DESCRIPTION:
Mia's Bread is a popular in-eat bakery in Nara city. It's a great place to relax for a spot of lunch or grab something to go to enjoy later on. Starting in a small kitchen 40 years ago, they moved into Naramachi in 2017, then opened their current shop in Takabatake-cho in mid 2024. Their new shop is bright and airy, reminiscent of something you might come across at a seaside resort .

MIA'S BREAD

DESCRIPTION:
This popular little bakery is located not too far from Nara Palace Site Historical Park. They offer natural yeast bread and seasonal limited bread all made with additive-free wheat from Hokkaido.
MENU DETAILS:
Sakura Pan-Koubou is well known for its melon-pan sweetbun. There is also a kids swimming school nearby so many families drop by here after class and this is reflected in their selection of wonderfully cute and decorative bread creations.
ACCESS:
Walk across the large carpark in front of Suzukumon Plaza. Nara Koutsu buses stop right outside the bakery, too. Catch the No 98 bus from Kintetsu Nara Station. There is also space for 2 cars.
